Artist Statement

Laura Hunter, creator of 'Tiska Leatherwork and Repairs' predominantly works in vegetable tanned leather, which consists of hand-cut, saddle-stitched designs in simple, timeless shapes. Functionality is key in all of Laura's work, and prolonging the use of items in her repair work. Laura has also planned many workshops throughout 2024 which will be held at Bank Vale Mill as part of the Bank Vale Artisans.
