Artist Statement

Lauren Shearer is the creative force behind Dark Peak Design. Founded on the idea that art can be fun and that colour can bring joy, each piece aims to bring a small piece of that joy and happiness into your home. Lauren's favorite medium to work with is jesmonite. The juxtaposition of industrial copper pipe work mixed with the tactile and brightly coloured jesmonite creates simple, usable items that inject colour into your home.

Every piece is handmade and individual. Made with either a spatter, swirling marble or terrazzo effect, no two are exactly the same.
