Artist Statement

Philip makes a combination of both thrown and hand built ceramics. All work is fired to a stoneware temperature of 1260 degrees centigrade. His work is decorated with a combination of stained porcelain slips and underglaze colours with some pieces having highlights of gold leaf. Work is sold via a limited number of outlets such as Chatsworth House, Derbyshire and leading auction houses.
