Artist Statement

Hi! My name is Allison Brandon and I'm the person behind Pentrich Jewellery. I'm excited to be taking part in Derbyshire Open Arts for the first time this year and hope to see you there!
My passion is making sterling silver hallmarked jewellery, in my studio in Pentrich, Derbyshire.
I offer a selection of chainmaille and solid silver items including bangles, bracelets, chains and earrings. Chainmaille jewellery is painstakingly made using lots of tiny silver rings which are then woven together in different designs, opening and closing each one in turn to create beautiful jewellery. Sometimes I incorporate gem stones, beads or Swarovski crystals to add a splash of colour and originality to my designs.
