Artist Statement

I am driven by the love of nature and have always enjoyed photographing the land and coast, and recently I have developed an interest in more creative photography using techniques such as intentional camera movement, long exposure and ‘in the round’. I really enjoy the sense of movement these images evoke.
My work has also become more abstract as I experiment with colours, patterns, textures and shapes, engaging with other art forms such as cyanotypes and abstract paintings. Inspiration comes from so many different directions.
