Artist Statement

My work is inspired by the dramatic Peak District landscape. I make quick sketches and can use these to create more finished pieces back home.
I work quickly believing that this is the best way to capture the spirit and mood of a landscape.
I employ a variety of media including watercolour, inks, charcoal and pastel. To be honest I don't always know how they will react together but that is the exciting part
